New Day is a psychiatric rehabilitation center serving adults, 18 years and older, with a diagnosis of mental illness. The mission of New Day is to assist people with mental illness to develop their abilities to live as independently as possible within the community. Individuals are called members not clients or patients. The clubhouse provides support, understanding, and opportunities for growth. All services focus on the individual’s strengths, talents and abilities, and are designed to promote successful social and vocational adjustment to community life. newport
